This position is a PRN on-call position. This position will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate, expert care to the sexual assault patient. This will include a forensic exam, pregnancy prophylaxis and prophylaxis for sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, support and participation in legal proceedings. This position is expected to follow protocols established by the Forensic Program Coordinator, Medical Director and/or leadership within the Emergency Department for which the SANE is employed. This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.
