About The Position

BrightStar Care of North Miami is seeking part-time PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a one-on-one setting. The role emphasizes promoting patients' well-being through high-quality nursing practices while adhering to health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible, well-trained, and capable of delivering excellent care with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Florida RN license
• AHCA level 2 fingerprinting
• Physical within past six (6) months
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred
• Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
• Licensed driver with proof of automobile insurance
• Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients' charts
• Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
