  • Works with an interdisciplinary team to provide for the mental and physical needs of clients.
  • Meets with clients to identify and assess their developing physical needs, and utilizes the nursing process to respond to identified needs, both proactively and by request.
  • Facilitates providers' orders and works with external agencies (pharmacies, lab, hospitals) as needed.
  • Oversees medication administration process, including medication specialists.
  • Participates in providing health education to clients and staff through individual/small groups informal communication, in-services and groups on various healthcare topics.
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives to monitor/ensure quality of care is maintained.
  • Have an unrestricted RN Oregon License, or anticipate licensure within the next 6 months.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely.
  • Approach employee and client interactions from a trauma-informed lens.
  • Displays honesty, integrity, respect, and professionalism within the workplace while recognizing individual autonomy, dignity, choice, lifestyles, behaviors, and cultures.
  • Experience in mental health nursing.
