About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for The Citadel of Wilmette. The primary purpose of a Registered Nurse's position is to provide each of the residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident's assessments and care plan. The RN will work using the guidelines established from the Nurse Practice Act and Policies and Procedures, applying nursing judgment to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitation care. The RN will deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care, implementing the patient/resident plan of care and evaluating the patient/resident response. This role includes directing and supervising care given by other nursing personnel, providing input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care, and maintaining knowledge of necessary documentation requirements. The RN will also maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use, while ensuring confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all personnel information. Additionally, the RN will provide patient/resident/family caregiver education as directed and conduct themselves in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies. The RN may be required to oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as part of their responsibilities.
