About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Alliance for Multispecialty Research will play a crucial role in managing clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and protocol guidelines. This position requires a basic understanding of clinical research activities and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the research industry. The RN will be responsible for coordinating clinical trials, handling investigator products, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the study process.

Requirements

  • Valid RN license required.
  • Clinical experience involving patient care in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interpret and perform clinical, laboratory, and diagnostic tests preferred.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform multiple critical tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in office equipment and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical trials per FDA requirements and GCP guidelines per sponsor protocols.
  • Responsible for handling Investigator product.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs in the conduct of clinical research studies.
  • Acquire detailed knowledge of the protocol and procedures associated with each clinical research study.
  • Effectively communicate with clinical research sponsors, CROs, monitors/CRAs, IRBs, laboratories, and clinical personnel.
  • Advise Investigator, Sub-Investigator, and staff on protocols and procedures for successful study implementation.
  • Notify Investigator and monitor/CRA of any adverse events or serious adverse events per the protocol.
  • Complete all required documentation in a legible and timely fashion.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are appropriately signed and dated.
  • Assume responsibility for tasks outside of current role and work flexible hours as needed.
