About The Position

Provides direct and indirect patient care for patients in the Treatment Center. Communicates with Physicians/Nurse Manager/Co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. They are responsible for initiating the computerized Plan of Care/Standard of Care on admission and carrying out that plan.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Evidence of continuing education is appropriate for skill level and area of practice.
  • Current RN license in the State of Oregon
  • BLS.
  • None required.
  • Infusion pumps and other medical equipment, computer, printer, photocopier, and patient charts.
  • Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and assistance of physician in procedure.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse population.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN.
  • Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire. - IV certification(s)/Wound Care/etc.
  • Previous Clinical Experience.
  • Bilingual English Spanish speaking preferred.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
