SUMMARY: The RN uses experience, knowledge, judgment and skills to evaluate patients for eligibility for hospice care and to provide nursing care to patients and families in all settings. Maintains patient confidentiality and promotes patient rights as supported by agency, state and federal directives. Identifies cultural diversity and lifestyle choices and non-judgmentally accommodates for such differences.
