About The Position
Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Part time from 10:00PM - 6:00AM. Park Place Health and Wellness is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve! Shift differential included at $2.00 per hour. Shift Hours: 10:00PM - 6:00AM. Must be able to work every weekend. Shift differential included at $2.00 per hour. Summary of essential job functions: Responsible to provide direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day to day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team. Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders. Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management. Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients. Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift. Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident's treatment plan.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
