Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis. What You Can Expect and ScheduleAcuity Adaptable Consists of Progressive Care/Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit– 1:4 ratio and 144 beds Critical Care Unit consists of Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Intermediate ICU. Ratios can range from 1:1 or 1:2 in MICU/SICU and up to 1:3 in IICU. This position will serve patients on Acuity Adaptable as well as Critical Care and will work both areas as needed. Shifts are typically 7:00-7:00 unless otherwise prearranged with your leader. Within the PRN staffing team, employees will choose a Tier commitment level below and commit to an 18 week agreement at that Tier. Employees can increase their Tier commitment at the beginning of any payperiod and can decrease their Tier commitment at the start of their next 18 week scheduling period. Base pay is determined by Tier level commitment and can be discussed further with your recruiter. Tier 2 requires 24 hours per pay period Tier 3 requires 24 hours per week totaling 48 hours per pay period Eskenazi Health is a Level 1 trauma and certified adult burn center with a level 3 NICU.
