About The Position
Heritage Hall is currently seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse at our Lexington, VA facility! Job Description The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering day-to-day care to residents at our 60 bed facility. They supervise the LPN’s and CNA’s on duty with them as well as participate in the direct care of the residents. They are also responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Part-Time: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm with every other weekend required About Heritage Hall at Lexington With bright skylights and large windows overlooking a quiet neighborhood, Heritage Hall Lexington is nestled between a middle school and the community pool and is within walking distance of the city’s celebrated historic downtown. Requirements
- Must have an ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college
- Must have active RN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care preferred
