About The Position

As a registered nurse at Levine Children's Hospital, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to children and families who inspire us every day. Our pediatric OR team supports a full range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, dental/oral surgery, and robotics. From tiny tonsils to complex trauma and transplants, you'll gain unmatched exposure and experience across every specialty, all while working in an environment built on teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
