Requirements
- Current Texas RN license (Compact accepted)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience in acute care or behavioral health settings
- BLS certification required
- Familiarity with detox protocols and medication management
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform admission assessments and monitor patients through all stages of withdrawal and recovery.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies safely and effectively.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate individualized treatment plans.
- Track vitals, withdrawal scores, and therapeutic progress, ensuring timely interventions.
- Educate clients and families on medications, recovery principles, and health maintenance.
- Maintain EMR documentation accurately and confidentially.
