The 9 South Cardiac Telemetry Unit is a specialized 44-bed department dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. We care for individuals experiencing heart rhythm abnormalities, blood pressure irregularities, chest pain, and those recovering from cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and ablations. With a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team ensures personalized attention and continuous cardiac monitoring using advanced telemetry technology. Nurses in this department play a critical role in early detection of cardiac changes, rapid intervention, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent complications.
