Requirements

  • Strong clinical and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to supervise, lead, and mentor nursing staff
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform other duties as required
  • Commitment to resident dignity and quality of life
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
  • Must hold a valid RN License in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily rounds and assessments on assigned residents.
  • Monitor and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Communicate changes in condition to residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist in developing and updating resident care plans.
  • Support and train nursing staff, including new and temporary employees.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, infection control, and emergency protocols.
  • Participate in quality assurance and state survey processes.
  • Direct supervision of nursing staff and indirect supervision of all staff involved in resident care.
  • Involved in hiring, training, performance management, and staff scheduling.
