About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – 4N Medical Stepdown Night Shift - (Hours: 7p -7a) Weekend & Holidays per department guidelines. Wilmington, DE Christiana Care - Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4N Medical Stepdown Unit. The Unit 4N is a Medical Stepdown Unit caring for patients with diagnoses affecting all systems: Pneumonia, COPD, HF, Stroke, change in mental status, diabetes, wounds, UTI, Pancreatitis, and cellulitis. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The unit provides staff with various learning experiences in a fast-paced environment. Working on a mixed-acuity unit will allow you to be ACLS certified, learn from critical and emergent patient situations, and use best practice techniques from evidence-based care. Requirements
- Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License
- BSN Preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years of hire date
- RN with 1-2 years of experience in acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred
