Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania, in good standing
- CPR/First Aid certification (must be maintained)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and support staff with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Sensitivity and aptitude for working with residents, families, and team members
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years in assisted living or other related health care, preferred
- 3+ years of geriatric experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care and promote resident wellness, safety, and comfort.
- Lead and support care staff to ensure exceptional service and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Conduct resident assessments and help develop or update care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor health changes, and communicate updates to physicians and families.
- Respond promptly to medical needs, emergencies, or changes in residents’ conditions.
- Educate residents and families on health, wellness, and care procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with state and community standards.
- Participate in training, staff development, and performance feedback for care team members.
- Ensure infection control and safety procedures are consistently followed.
- Collaborate with the Resident Services Director and other team members to support overall community health goals.
