Department: Trauma Surgery Med/Surg (9RT) Location: Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC Shift Schedule: Full time (36 hours), Weekend Nights, 7:00pm - 7:00am + One Weekday Night What We Offer: Generous PTO: Accrual starts at 22.5 days/year, to be used for vacations, sickness, holidays, and personal matters. Requirements

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines

Responsibilities

Patient/Family Centered Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care, placing patients and their families at the center of every decision. Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing diagnoses,identify outcomes, plan interventions, and coordinate care to promoteoptimal health and wellbeingin accordance with the policies of WFBH.
Patient Discharge & Referrals: Participates in multidisciplinary discharge planning referrals to hospital and community resources as needed.
