About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable managing patients with mixed and shared acuity levels across adult and pediatric populations. This role requires flexibility, including floating when census demands and working every other weekend .

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience
Current certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS
Strong clinical skills in high-acuity emergency care
Ability to float to other units as needed
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently in a high-stress environment

Charting System: EPIC (preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform rapid assessments and triage of emergency patients
Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric ER patients
Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
Administer emergency medications, IV vasopressors, blood products, and continuous IV infusions
Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
Perform and assist with procedural sedation and emergency interventions
Initiate IVs, perform phlebotomy, and manage central lines
Respond to stroke (CVA) and other critical emergencies
Maintain isolation precautions and infection control standards
Document care accurately using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
