PRN Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
PRN (Per Required Need) / On-Call Position This is an as-needed, on-call role with no guaranteed hours. Minimum Availability Requirements: Commitment to at least two (2) weekend shifts per month (Saturday and/or Sunday) Intermittent weekday availability as needed Flexibility to work Day, PM, and NOC shifts (PMs and NOCs are most needed) Availability to work some holidays Availability to attend a Wednesday New Employee Orientation Additional Details: Shifts may be scheduled in advance or offered with short notice No guaranteed hours No benefits or insurance offered for PRN status Non-union position
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
- Prior floor nurse experience within a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred
- Experience with the post-acute patients – specifically the cardiac, post op ortho & the medically complex
- Electronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal)
