About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position working rotating 12-hour shifts (8 AM – 8 PM). Every other weekend is required. This role will function as a cart nurse across two floors, providing direct patient care and ensuring continuity of services. The RN will play a key role in maintaining clinical excellence and supporting a team-based care model.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of New York
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across units
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as assigned (cart nurse responsibilities)
• Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions
• Work across two floors to support resident care needs
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and providers
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
