About The Position

We are currently searching for a FT Registered Nurse to work Monday – Thursday
(and one Friday per month) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians
and perform a variety of tasks.  Responsible for the knowledge of principles,
theories and practices of the nursing process and the ability to deal
efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals and to move or
lift patients and equipment.

Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; provides care
for patients in recovery; assists the physicians during endoscopy procedures;
and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement
activities.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and
skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state
license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support
certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse
experience. Experience in Pre-op and PACU a plus.

Requirements
