About The Position

Landmark Hospitals is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for the Night Shift at its Joplin, MO location. Landmark of Joplin is a 17-bed acute care hospital and 12-bed acute rehabilitation unit. Landmark Hospitals is a privately owned hospital system with locations in Georgia and Missouri. It is licensed as an acute care hospital and accredited to operate as a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) under CIHQ. The hospitals specialize in providing transitional care for medically complex patients, with patients typically staying an average of 25-30 days. Requirements

• Valid RN License in state of MO or Compact RN License
• BLS and ACLS certification required within 60 days of employment
• Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in stressful environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills

• Positive, professional and empathetic demeanor

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
• Providing care for patients and management of their conditions, with regard to vital signs and lab work
• Collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care
• Assisting the medical staff with in-house procedures
• Interacting and communicating with patient family members
