The Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Atrium Health Navicent provides compassionate care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health crises. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license.
- One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric/behavioral health or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care to individuals experiencing psychiatric crises.
- Perform mental health assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to support patient recovery.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and families on mental health management and recovery resources.
