Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
CPR Certification
Proven experience in a nursing home environment preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple priorities
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, some weekends, and some holidays

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in a nursing home environment preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families on health management, post-discharge care, and treatment options
Document patient information thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records
Ensure compliance with facilities policies, procedures, and safety standards
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
