About The Position

Our Academic Medical Center is expanding to meet the needs of our rural New England region's pediatric patients with inpatient psychiatric care needs. The Inpatient Adolescent Med Psych Care Unit opened in April 2025. We are recruiting both Pediatric RNs and Psychiatric RNs with passion to support adolescent patients from 12 to 17 years of age. The successful candidate will be flexible and have a team-orientated approach to care. This is a Part Time 24hr/week (2x12hr shifts) Night Shift rotating position. The rotation is 7p-7a across all 7 days and includes weekends and holiday nights.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
Licensed RN with NH eligibility
BLS

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
Utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or to elevate to the care team as necessary.
Practices in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients, uphold their autonomy in decision-making, ensure informed consent and assist patients in families in expressing self-determination.
