About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time | Every Other Weekend | Day Shift Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served older adults for more than 130 years in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus provides Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice services in a welcoming, home-like environment. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing team and deliver high-quality, person-centered care that supports dignity, independence, and quality of life. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, safe, and high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work within federally funded healthcare programs
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Experience providing care to older adults

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Assess residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional status and adjust care as needed
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
  • Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure consistent care delivery
  • Advocate for resident dignity, safety, and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members
  • Document assessments, interventions, and changes in condition within the EMR
  • Participate in infection control, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives
  • Promote a respectful, supportive, and person-centered care environment
