About The Position
Where You Will Work: 4 Pine at Atrium Health Pineville is a Post-Surgical Med/Surg unit with 32 beds and 4 surge spaces. In joining our team you will gain a range of experience and knowledge, providing post-surgical care for hips, knees, spinal, general orthopedics, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, ENT, urology, VATs, and other general surgeries, with the exception of cardiac and pediatric cases. Our Unit is a team, and we're looking for a kind and professional team-player who places the safety and care of the patient at the forefront. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
