About The Position

Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a full-service healthcare facility serving those living and working in Eastern and Central Union counties. The hospital was established in January 2000, following the consolidation of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Elizabeth General Medical Center. Our Elizabeth, NJ hospital operates on two major campuses. The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required
  • ASN or BSN required
  • AHA BLS prior to start date required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous RN experience if preferred
  • Psych Certifications and/or national nursing certifications are preferred
