Stem Cell Transplant & Malignant Hematology (SCC 3) Acute Oncology Unit (SCC 4) Surgical Oncology (SCC 5) Surgical Oncology/MICU Stepdown (SCC 6) A Brief Overview Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Requirements

  • Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing required
  • Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
  • Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Upon Hire (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on clinical area standards.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on clinical area standards.
