Windsor Laurelwood is seeking: Registered Nurse RN FULL TIME BONUS of $5,000 The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to individuals across the lifespan experiencing acute and chronic mental health and substance use disorders. This role integrates psychiatric nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and regulatory standards to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress. The nurse functions as a clinical caregiver, patient advocate, educator, and interdisciplinary team member while maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu. The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to adapt care to diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, geriatric patients, and individuals with chemical dependency. The nurse promotes recovery-oriented care through structured environments, psychotherapeutic interventions, medication management, patient and family education, and leadership within the care team. Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, located in Northeast Ohio, specializes in psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The facility provides a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient programs to meet patient’s individual needs. Assessment and referral service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
