About The Position
PRN (Per Required Need) / On-Call Position This is an as-needed, on-call role with no guaranteed hours. A little more about our center: Community Care Center is an inner city SNF with a diverse population of geriatrics (long and short term) as well as behavioral health. This close-knit team is welcoming and always willing to jump in to help when you need it.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
- Prior floor nurse experience within a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred
- Experience with the post-acute patients – specifically the cardiac, post op ortho & the medically complex
- Electronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal)
- Commitment to at least two (2) weekend shifts per month (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Intermittent weekday availability as needed
- Flexibility to work Day, PM, and NOC shifts (PMs and NOCs are most needed)
- Availability to work some holidays
- Availability to attend a Wednesday New Employee Orientation
