About The Position
The RN will provide care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities include pre-op assessment and education, IV starts, assisting physicians during procedures, specimen handling, post-procedure monitoring, and patient discharge teaching. You’ll work closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, RNs, and endoscopy technicians in a well-organized facility with four procedure rooms and six admit/recovery bays.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- BLS (AHA) required at hire
- ACLS required within one month of hire
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be on your feet most of the day
Nice To Haves
- Strong IV skills preferred
- Procedural or conscious sedation experience preferred
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
