About The Position
HSHS St Joseph's Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical (Med Surg) unit or our Emergency Department (ED. ER) Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including those preparing for surgery, recovering from surgical procedures, experiencing acute illnesses or injuries, or managing chronic health issues that don't require specialized care, essentially attending to most patients admitted to a hospital at some point during their stay. Position Specifics: Department: Med Surg and/or ED Core Function: Nursing Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs/wk, Nights (7p-7a) Facility: St. Joseph’s Location: Highland, IL Sign on Bonus: up to $20,000 for select RN positions Compensation that aligns with your experience
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
