About The Position
This position is filled by a registered nurse who, as a result of educational and clinical experience, possesses the advanceSd knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care; applies expert knowledge to act as a change agent, role model and leader; ensures quality focused and cost-effective care delivery outcomes; functions within a collaborative practice to enhance quality of care and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Responsible and accountable for direct patient care and providing leadership within the nursing team. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the patient and for the decision regarding which nursing tasks can be safely delegated to licensed and unlicensed persons involved in patient care. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting a team effort among co-workers. Responsible and accountable to know, own and energize the vision, mission, values and standards of the hospital.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required, BSN or MSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing.
- Experience: Willing to train recent RN graduate. Previous clinic experience desired.
- Certifications: BLS required.
- Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
