Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN licensure
  • CPR certification
  • Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
  • Applicants may be subject to a background check.
  • Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver kind, compassionate, and respectful care to all residents
  • Assess, chart, and report changes in residents’ conditions, including responses to medications and treatments
  • Perform basic nursing care and treatments, including taking vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, care teams, residents, and families regarding resident status and care needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
