About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to nursing staff. The RN delivers high-quality nursing services while promoting a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.
Requirements
- Current NYS RN license in good standing.
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Geriatric Nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to resident-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Geriatric Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
- Supervise, guide, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to physicians and family members.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Act as a role model and resource for clinical staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.
