About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - Center for Rehabilitation (Acute Care) PT Day Shift - Hours: 7a-7p Weekends & holidays per staffing guidelines. Wilmington, DE ChristianaCare's Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN). ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services at Wilmington Hospital helps our patients reclaim their independence and activity level, putting them back on the road to their best health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital (CRWH) is dedicated to rehabilitation to help patients regain or improve the skills needed for daily life. Patients receive nursing care, the medical staff manages medical problems, and rehabilitation is provided in our state-of-the-art center. We are internationally recognized and accredited as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditations in stroke, brain injury, and amputation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware. This 1,007-bed, 1.3-million-square-foot modern facility provides a level of care only available in large-scale teaching hospitals. Christiana Hospital includes Delaware's only Level-I Trauma center (as verified by the American College of Surgeons), which is prepared to handle the most extreme medical emergencies. In fact, it is the only Level-I Trauma center on the East Coast corridor between Baltimore and Philadelphia. Christiana Hospital has also been nationally recognized in U.S. News & World Report's Best Regional Hospitals rankings as #1 in Delaware and #3 in the Philadelphia metro area, plus High Performing in 9 Adult Procedures/Conditions
Requirements
- Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Applicants must commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of the hire date.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years in Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, or Stepdown.
