This role provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift and unit level. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for the supervision of delegated staff and is accountable for supporting the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and proper resource management related to patient care.
