Registered Nurse – Stroke and Neurology unit, Telemetry (3F) Location: Baptist Health Lexington Schedule: Full-time | 3rd Shift | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week About 3F: This unit is a 24- bed Telemetry unit that supports our comprehensive stroke program. It specializes in the care of Neurology, Neurosurgery, TIA, and CVA. This unit also serves as an overflow for orthopedic patients. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED, and PACU. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers compassionate, evidence-based care designed to support healing and wellness. In this role, you’ll coordinate, ensure, and provide direct patient care while creating an environment rooted in dignity, respect, and empathy. You will use your clinical expertise and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients across the lifespan. As a clinical nurse, you’ll spend the majority of your time (>50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care through: Conducting nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges Providing patient and family-centered education Coordinating care and developing individualized treatment plans
