About The Position

Kāhala Nui, considered Hawaiʻi’s premier senior living community, is seeking dedicated Full-Time Overnight Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team.   POSITION SUMMARY: RNs provide compassionate, resident‑centered care by assessing health needs, administering treatments, and documenting care. RNs supports residents and families, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures safe, high‑quality clinical practices in accordance with Kāhala Nui and regulatory standards.   SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays. SUNDAY - SATURDAY; NIGHT (10:00pm - 6:30am).  QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. profession of a valid State of Hawai'i Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.  Current CPR and First Aid certification.  Proof of annual tuberculosis (TB) clearance in accordance with State of Hawai'i regulations.  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and associates.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to solve problems and make sound clinical decisions with minimal supervision.  Must be available to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays, as required for resident care operations.  Ability to effectively operate computers, software programs, and online systems necessary for daily job responsibilities and documentation compliance.  Demonstrated basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate: Email systems Web browsers Standard office software applications Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems used to document resident care and clinical workflows in accordance with regulatory requirements. Requirements
