The RN collaborates with nurses from all shifts, interdisciplinary staff, and physicians on issues related to the management and coordination of resident care. Responsibilities include direct resident care, leadership of MAA, CNA, and RA staff. The RN reports to the Director of Nursing. Requirements

Registered Nurse License in the state of Wisconsin required for all RN positions.
CPR Certified, required.

Nice To Haves

One year relevant nursing experience, preferred.
Knowledgeable in geriatric care, preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs resident care such as medication administration, treatment, therapy, basic teaching and reinforcement education.
Contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of resident conditions and care: Documents and reports change in condition, intervention and resident response.
Updates Care Plan consulting with floor RN as appropriate.
Communicates Care Plan change with Nursing staff/Director of Nursing Care.
Attends Care conferences as designated.
Reports change in resident condition to supervisor and seek guidance from RN’s as needed.
Delivers nursing care in compliance with Nurse Practice Act, State and Federal regulations applicable to SNF setting and policies and procedures of Oakwood Village.
Collaborates with nursing team, medical consultants, and other team members to ensure resident and family needs are met.
Demonstrates effective time management and problem solving skills.
