About The Position

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital, a partnership with Select Medical, is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) located in Phoenix, Arizona, with a full-time night schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7-7. Compensation is $39.38-53.00 per hour plus shift differentials, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

  • Valid State RN License is required.
  • BLS is required at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load on each shift.
  • Help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan.
  • Receive admissions and/or transfers.
  • Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families.
