Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- Experience in senior care or long-term care setting preferred
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory impairments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- One year of supervisory experience including coaching, performance feedback, and team development
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Comfortable working around pets and animals
- Willingness to work with individuals with neurodegenerative conditions
Responsibilities
- Supervise Medication Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Caregivers in the delivery of resident care
- Act as a liaison and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians
- Assist residents with mobility needs and daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and personal care
- Support compliance with state and federal nursing regulations
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care
