About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) $7,500 NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS for FULL-TIME (Paid in quarterly payments over two years) Highly Competitive Wages, Amazing Benefits, & Weekly Employee Appreciation Events! Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking the right candidate to join our FAMILY at our Kingsford facility. Located at 1225 Woodward Ave. Kingsford, MI 49802. Shifts Available: We currently have FT, PT, and PRN on all three shifts. You have the option of 8- or 12-hour shifts. Registered Nurse (RN) Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: A Registered Nurse (RNs) daily responsibility will be to evaluate assigned patients within one of our Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our nurses direct the CNAs in their daily care of residents. Their role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. They’ll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. They’ll represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements. A Registered Nurse (RNs) adheres to the facility’s Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person. Providing great patient care. Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families Administering medications and other treatments Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures Promoting patient’s independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals. Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine. Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Valid Identification
Comfortable using a computer.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
Prior experience with Infection Control is preferred.

Responsibilities
