About The Position

We are searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) - someone to work within our Virtual Care Network; in this position, you’ll provide quality clinical nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost-effective care. This applicant will work onsite near the medical center to provide Virtual Care and an array of options to assist in the diagnosing pediatrics virtually in the comfort of their own home. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or other degree in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement
  • Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • 9 months of professional nursing experience
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Current inpatient Acute Care experience
  • Ability to cross-train and support other areas as needed
  • Experience supporting or collaborating with Women’s Services departments
  • Proficiency with EPIC (or comparable electronic health record systems)
  • Ability to conduct virtual patient intakes and provide patient education via phone or digital platforms
