About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Sick Call Registered Nurse to join their team at the Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. Centurion Health provides comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings nationwide, contracting with state and local governments. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for running sick call and providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role involves working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patients.
Requirements
- Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Running sick call
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient
