About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be a valued teammate of a 44-bed medical-surgical unit, also known as Internal Medicine. This unit is committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. In this role, the RN will work closely with a nursing care team comprised of a healthcare technician and exercise physiologist to provide patient-centered care. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitate clear communication, and promote optimal recovery and patient well-being. The Internal Medicine unit provides a great learning environment for nurses with all experience levels and interests, priding itself on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for new teammates, focusing on teamwork, communication, positivity, and quality care. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
