About The Position

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services in a school setting located in Tampa Bay, Florida. The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution preferred
• Possess a current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• One (1) year of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student health needs
• Provide direct nursing services to students as required by health plans or IEPs
• Monitor student health conditions and administer medications as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families and school personnel
• Maintain compliance with school district, state, and federal policies
• Participate in required trainings and professional development
• Any other duties as assigned
