About The Position
The Registered Nurse utilizes critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality care to patients. This involves applying the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role also includes assisting in organizing patient care activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
- No prior experience required
- Current REGISTERED NURSE License
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Certification
- ACLS Certification (within 90 Days of hire)
- NIH Certification (within 60 Days of hire)
- EKG Certification
Responsibilities
- Assesses physical, skin, pain, fall, medications and discharge needs with appropriate interventions
- Develops and implements Plan of Care on admission using assessment data
- Provides education to patient and family
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Assists in organizing Patient Care Activities
