About The Position

Atrium Health West Blvd Family Medicine is a community-based family medicine clinic in West Charlotte, located near the Stratford YMCA and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The clinic serves all age groups, offering newborn and well-child visits, sick visits, and chronic comorbidity management. It prides itself on embedded resources such as social work, pharmacy, and a community health worker to provide comprehensive patient care aimed at preventing hospitalization and disease progression. The Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte provides comprehensive care across a 14-county region in over 600 locations, including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Infusion, Cardiology, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal, Oncology, Behavioral Health, and Virtual Care. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Current certification in BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior ambulatory family medicine or inpatient acute care experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
  • BSN preferred

  • Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
  • Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication
